Dancing Greek Syrtaki in Antalya, Turkey, with 30  youngsters from 7 countries

An 8 days training course to analyze social inclusion topics through clown, juggling and social circus tools was held in Antalya, Turkey, on 5th-13th April 2017 with 30 participants from 7 countries around Europe.


Elis’ local development centre “Dione”, established in Ancient Olympia, Greece, participated in the TOOLS OF ANIMATION project that aimed to contribute to the personal and social development of youngsters and youth workers, raising awareness about social inclusion and analyzing the social exclusion at European level. “Dione” was represented at this training course by the Erasmus Intern from Azerbaijan, Vugar Mamedov (Master student / Environmental Sciences, Gazi University, Ankara).


Activities included workshops on theatre, clown, street theatre, basic juggling and individual work, working groups and collective group work.
“Tools of Animation” training course is implemented by the UTOPIA EDUCATION & ART ORGANIZATION, within the framework of the Erasmus Plus (Mobilty of Youth Workers) program.
